The story of La Rustichella began in 1986, when Sergio Brugnoli, originally from Norcia (Umbria), and his wife Maria Marsili, after several years of experience in the truffle sector, decided to transform their family laboratory into a prosperous business with an eye on the international market.
They thus founded the first factory in San Cesareo, in the province of Rome, but it was with their first trips abroad, particularly with significant experience in America, that Sergio and Maria discovered the interest and curiosity of foreigners for authentic Italian products.
The desire to spread abroad such a particular product as the truffle, allows Sergio Brugnoli to obtain a deserved recognition over the years.
